The Davis Farmers Market celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2006. Thirty years later, still located in the heart of the downtown under an impressive city-built structure, which provides shelter from the elements year round, the market is growing strong. It is often featured in national magazines and frequently voted “best thing to do in Davis.” The market has cooking demonstrations, a market chef, and tastings.

Open year round, rain or shine, the market vendors offer a wide range of fruits and vegetables, including certified organic produce, as well as fresh baked good, flowers, meats, oils and nursery plants.  Everything sold in the market is either grown by or made by the seller. In the summer, Wednesday night is “Picnic in the Park” where you can listen to music, shop at the market, and buy your dinner from over a dozen vendors using product from the market in their dinner offering.
