The Village Feast in Davis

The Village FeastSlow Food Yolo's third annual Village Feast will be Saturday, August 25, 2007, supporting the Davis Farm to School Connection.

The Village Feast is a fundraiser for the Davis Farm to School Connection, which supports school gardens, second-grade farm field trips to local organic farmers that sell to the school district's National School Lunch Program, and the forager position provided to the school district through the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF.)

Presented by Slow Food Yolo, the Village Feast is sponsored by Slow Food USA. Slow Food Yolo's Village Feast will begin with an apertif at noon in Davis Central Park, followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. for 300 people seated at one grand table under the shade of the Sycamore trees.

Please be sure to bring your own dinner plate, knife, fork, spoon and cloth napkins and bring your best to celebrate the best of Yolo County. We will provide a WINE GLASS and COFFEE CUP.

In the spirit of Slow Food, we respectfully request you not to bring paper or plastic plates, utensils or napkins.
